Teaching with Clarity: Unpacking Standards & Creating Success Recorded Webinar


When learning is organized and intentional, and learning progressions and success criteria are clear, students achieve. In order to design these types of learning experiences, teachers must have deep knowledge of what students should KNOW, UNDERSTAND, and be able to DO to master a standard. Facilitated by Tamara Smith-Moyler, T-TAC ODU’s Mathematics Educational Specialist, this session will focus on unpacking the new VESOL math standards, creating learning intentions and success criteria for the standards, and designing learning experiences and assessment opportunities aligned with the standards.
