Cowtown Classic

March 21 & 22, 2020

Miles CC Basketball and The Pioneer Club hosts the annual Cowtown Classic Youth Basketball Tournament every March.  The tournament is for 5th - 8th grade Boys and Girls teams and is held on the third full weekend of March each year.  The Cowtown Classic is a fundraiser that proceeds the MCC men's and women's basketball squads scholarship funds.  The tournament has been going on since 1993.

The tournament is played on seven courts across Miles City, including the MCC Centra (2 courts), Custer County District High School (2 courts), Washington Middle School, MC Sacred Heart, and Pine Hills both Saturday and Sunday.  The entry fee of $200 guarantees four games.  We use Montana /ND Officials Association referees for our games when possible.

The tournament not only benefits MCC, but also benefits the community and local businesses as it is our way of giving back to the businesses that support us.  Last year, the Cowtown brought in nearly 60 teams to the community from across Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
