Making Strides Inclusion Camp www.rideonranch.org
Horses, games, the great outdoors and a whole lot of fun! This camp is for everyone! Come join in on the summer fun here at Ride-On Ranch.
Activities include but not limited to water activities, fine motor crafts, nature walks, horse activities, hippotherapy, group and individual games Hippotherapy is the utilization of the horse's movement to reach functional goals. Under the instruction of a physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech pathologist, hippotherapy: • Promotes Motor Planning • Mobilizes the hips, pelvis and lumbar • Stimulates the Central Nervous System • Activates Weak Muscles During camp, Ride-On Ranch will provide opportunities for both individual sessions and small group settings. 1-to-1 assistance will be available as necessary. Occupational therapy activities as well as fun ranch games will give the participants plenty of opportunities to interact. Goals of the camp will include:
