Do you know why?
Hosting a Martial Arts Tournament is a lot of work and not a decision to be taken lightly. There are many factors to consider before jumping off the deep end. Such as,
"What’s the reason that you want to host a tournament?”
• Make money?
• Give back to the martial arts community?
• It seems like a good idea.
Whatever your reason, the success or failure is determined by your knowledge or consideration of what all of the moving parts are and how best to assemble and organize them into a cohesive plane.
Typically, folks attend a few events and think, "This doesn’t look that hard to do... and look at all the competitors! They must be raking in the dough!”
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Hidden Costs: Costs that are almost never considered when planning an event are the costs of attending tournaments or seminars in your region.
To gain Community Support, attending events whether tournaments or seminars is a must.
Depending on where the event is held, it will dictate your travel expenses.
• Travel: Cost of travel to and from an event whether by car, train, or plane.
• Accommodations: Hotel costs if you plan to stay overnight or the weekend.
• Meals: Of course, you’ll have to eat, so that must be figured in.
• Entry Fees: If you’re going to compete or attend a seminar.
Without knowing the behind-the-scenes frustrations and anxiety that can come with preparing for your big one-day event, you may be ill-prepared for all the work ahead of you.

3. COPYRIGHT; USE OF IMAGES: This Book is copyrighted by Business. Video, audio, and/or any other recording of this Book by the Customer are strictly prohibited. Business reserves all legal rights to pursue civil remedies.
4. BILLING AND PAYMENT: Billing and payment processing for Businesses' events is performed by Member Solutions, Inc. ("MSI"), and this contract is specifically assigned to MSI for all such purposes. Customer knowingly and irrevocably authorizes MSI to charge electronically Customer's bank account and/or credit card for any and all amounts due for Customer's purchase of this book. The phrase "8882448044 ONLINE REG FEE" or "MSI*EXCEEDMARTIALARTS" will appear on your bank or credit card statement. Any returned payment will be assessed a $25.00 fee. Any unsuccessful electronic transaction is subject to a $10.00 processing fee. MSI is not responsible for any bank fees incurred by the Customer. 5. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State in which the Business is located. All rights and obligations of the Business and Customer under this Agreement are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. These terms and conditions shall be deemed revised to conform to applicable statutes, rules, and regulations. Business and/or MSI may modify the terms and conditions stated herein at any time at their sole and absolute discretion. The customer shall be bound by the modified Agreement and agree that no other modifications shall be enforceable. This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements between the parties, whether written or oral. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision hereof shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. The waiver of any breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
