"It’s so important for kids to stay active when school is out,” said Tripp Roakes, Publisher of the South Charlotte Sports Report. "This camp gives kids a chance to stay in shape, have fun with friends and learn new sports and games. The kids have so much fun at this camp!”

We let all friends stay together in groups!

This camp is the perfect camp for your child over the summer break! We invite you to take advantage of our sibling discounts and send all your children to camp with us!

Cheer and Dance Camp

The South Charlotte Sports Report is excited to offer a fun and exciting eight  weeks of Cheer and Dance Camps over the Summer Break. Our camp offers instruction for all ages! This camp is designed to fit the needs of all levels of young cheerleaders!

A well trained staff of coaches and high school cheerleaders provide excellent instruction for all campers. The coaches keep the focus on each camper and provide a wonderful camp of instruction, all leading up to a special show for the parents at the close of camp.

The South Charlotte Sports Report Cheer and Dance Camp will provide campers the opportunity to develop and improve basic cheer and dance skills in a fun-filled, positive learning environment. The camp features small group instruction with an emphasis on individual and team cheer and dance skills. Girls of all ages and abilities will benefit from the camp, whether your camper is an experienced cheerleader or learning a dance routine for the first time.

The camp has been developed with an emphasis on first class instruction, organization and more importantly FUN! Each camper will learn the latest techniques in a fun, low pressure environment from active and veteran cheerleaders. Each day will consist of fundamental instruction, team building exercises and the development of cheerleading routines. On the final day of camp, parents will be invited to attend a special cheer and dance performance by the campers!

Make sure to register early to guarantee your spot. We will accommodate all requests to keep friends together in the same group.

Camper Information

If enrolling two or more children, you will be given the opportunity to add those at end of page

Both Multi-Sports and Cheer/Dance Campers have the option of  choosing a three or four hour a day camp.   Most campers seem to prefer the four hour camps, but we want to offer both options.

In addition to our regular snack breaks, we will take a special break at 12 noon for snacks or lunch.  We practice all school recommendations for food allergies and we DO NOT provide any food.

One more hour of freedom for the parents :)

PLEASE NOTE FOR CHEER CAMPS -- the 4th hour will be a mix of PE class games, cheer and dance camp games, arts and crafts.
