Greater CharlotteTrack and Field Awards Dinner

Award Nomination Form

The 2nd Annual Greater Charlotte Track and Field Awards Dinner will be held on Sunday, April 30th at the Sonesta Hotel in Charlotte..  This annual awards event honors the top track and field, and cross country Student Athletes in the Greater Charlotte region.  Doors open to the beautiful Sonesta  Auditorium at 5:00pm

The first class evening of fun and fellowship is designed to bring the track and field  together to honor the sport and the youth that work hard to excel on and off the field of play. The Greater Charlotte Track and Field Awards Dinner debuted last year as a sister event to the 16th Annual Greater Charlotte Hot Stove League Baseball and Softball Awards, the 5th Annual Greater Charlotte Lacrosse Awards and the 12th Annual Greater Charlotte Football and Cheer and Dance Awards, all presented by Tripp Roakes of the South Charlotte Sports Report.

These student recognition events have all grown to be the largest youth sports recognition events in the country for each sport.   The sole focus of each event is to shine the spotlight squarely on the top athletes, leaders and students participating in each sport.

In addition to the awards banquet, guests will enjoy dinner, the annual presentation of  the Contribution to the Sport Award,  a silent auction, , a  Yeti Cooler raffle and fellowship with other members of the Greater Charlotte Track and Field and Cross Country Community.

Finalists in all categories will be announced around April 1..   Tickets are available for sale at www.charlottetrackandfieldawards.com    Join many of your friends and peers for the # 1 night of track and field and cross country celebration in the Carolinas.

Nominations are due no later than March 30 . In addition to athletic performance, other factors in selecting finalists and winners include:  academic performance, school grade, player character and sportsmanship.  Selections will be made based on athletic accomplishments from April 10, 2022 -April 9, 2023
