A new law was passed in 2014 that requires everyone that has direct contact with children to complete THREE background checks. You will need to complete these in order to work with Camp Jamison. Information for the three background checks are below.

All three background checks are initiated online by you. As the law stands now, an employee must complete new background checks for each new employer. Employees cannot use existing clearances to begin employment with a new employer, even though the certificates are valid for three years.

In Camp Jamison Corporation use of the property, facilities and services of Camp Jamison Corporation, I agree for myself and (if applicable) for the members of my family, to the following:
1. instructions or directions given by Camp Jamison Corporation, or the volunteers, representatives or agents of Camp Jamison Corporation.
2. and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Camp Jamison Corporation, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Camp Jamison Corporation, or other third parties.
3. action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Camp Jamison Corporation.
4. my family's negligent, reckless, or willful actions.
5. under Pennsylvania law.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that part of the camping experience involves activities and group living arrangements and interactions that may be new to myself and that they come with certain risks and uncertainties beyond what I may be used to dealing with at home. I am aware of these risks, and I am assuming them. I realize that no environment is risk-free.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of the opportunity to work in the Camp Jamison program organized by Camp Jamison Corporation. I hereby waive any right or cause of action arising as a result of my participation in said camp program from which any liability may or could occur against Camp Jamison Corporation. or its officers, directors, agents, employees, donors and/or volunteers, either collectively or individually.
I hereby grant to Camp Jamison Corporation and assigns the right to photograph myself and use the photo and or other digital reproduction for publication processes, whether electronic, print, digital or electronic publishing via the Internet.
