USA-TKJ INSTRUCTOR - EXAMINER
CERTIFICATION This "on-line" Instructor - Examiner Registration is for all USA-TKJ Members who have certified Traditional Kodokan Judo rank(s) recognized by and registered with USA TRADITIONAL KODOKAN JUDO (USA-TKJ), regardless of gender, ethnicity or age.
In using this On-Line Registration Form, it is Important to know that you are submitting an "Application" for Instructor - Examiner Certification.
There are "4 Levels" on USA-TKJ Instructor - Examiner:
Associate Level - 1st thru 3rd Dan
Senior Level - 4th thru 6th Dan
Master Level - 7th & 8th Dan
Grand Master Level - 9th & 10th Dan
If your application for Instructor - Examiner certification is Not approved, the fee collected will be refunded to you less the processing fee.
For all "Instructor - Examiner Certification -
You are required to already be a certified Black Belt of USA Traditional Kodokan Judo and submit a "current" Photo in "coat & tie".
You will also need to submit your updated martial arts Bio to the USA-TKJ National Office at natlhq.usatkj@gmail.com or brucebethers@gmail.com.
You must be a "Current or Life Member" of USA-TKJ.
NOTE - The NON-refundable Processing Fee for all Dan Grades in $50.00

USA Traditional Kodokan Judo (USA-TKJ) is The National Governing Body for Traditional Kodokan Judo in the United States of America and is the USA National Member of the Panamerican Judo Union (PJU), International Kodokan Judo (ITKJ), and the Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF) with the purpose of unifying the All American Traditional Judoka in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. The terms of membership are that each individual member consent to waive USA Traditional Kodokan Judo (USA-TKJ) from all liabilities as indicated below.
Waiver of Liability -
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the USA Traditional Kodokan Judo (USA-TKJ) athletics/sports program, and related events and activities, the undersigned:
Agree that the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will instruct the minor participant that prior to participating, he or she should inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if the participant believes anything is unsafe, he or she will immediately advise his or her coach or supervisor of such condition(s) and refuse to participate.
Acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions or negligence but the actions, inactions or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.
Assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death.
Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation, its officers, its affiliated clubs, regional sports organizations, their respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches, and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as ‘releasees’ from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasee or otherwise.
