![]() INTERNATIONAL DAN GRADE CERTIFICATION This "on-line" Dan Grade Registration is for all USJJF MEMBERS who already have certified National USJJF or USMAF Dan Grade Certification with United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF), United States Martial Arts Federation (USMAF) and desire also to have their USJJF or USMAF Dan Grade certified as International Dan Grade by the WORLD ORGANIZATION OF SELF-DEFENSE (W.O.S.D.) Note: In using this On-Line Registration Form, it is Important to know that you are submitting an "Application" for International Dan Rank Certification, W.O.S.D. reserves the right to decline the certification request.
Your application for International Dan Grade Certification will be formally submitted by USJJF or USMAF to W.O.S.D.
This is only for Black Belt Ranks..
You must be a "Current or Life Member" of USJJF or USMAF.
Applicants upon approval from W.O.S.D. will receive the following:
1. W.O.S.D. - USA Official Letter notifying you of approved International Dan Grade from W.O.S.D.
2. W.O.SD. Dan Grade Certificate
3. International Budo Pass Book
4. W.O.S.D. Patch
5. Dan Grade Patch

The United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF) is The National Governing Body for Ju-Jitsu in the United States of America and is the USA National Partner with the World Organizations of Self-Defense and the Martial Arts International Federation (MAIF), with the purpose of unifying the Ju-Jitsu Community in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. The terms of membership are that each individual member consent to waive the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF) and the United States Martial Arts Federation (USMAF) from all liabilities as indicated below.
Waiver of Liability -
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF) and United States Martial Arts Federation (USMAF) athletics/sports program, and related events and activities, the undersigned:
Agree that the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will instruct the minor participant that prior to participating, he or she should inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if the participant believes anything is unsafe, he or she will immediately advise his or her coach or supervisor of such condition(s) and refuse to participate.
Acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions or negligence but the actions, inactions or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.
Assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death.
Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation or United States Martial Arts Federation , its officers, its affiliated clubs, regional sports organizations, their respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches, and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as ‘releasees’ from any and all liability to each of the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasee or otherwise.
