Thank you for offering your assistance for our biggest event!  Without dedicated volunteers like YOU we would not be able to run Taste of Oviedo.  

There are many different options for volunteers such as different times, different days and different areas.  

  • Vendor Check-in 
  • Beer & Wine Sales
  • Soda & Water Sales
  • Managing Event Tear Down Team Leaders (Students)
Below you will be able to select one or more volunteer areas/time slots to volunteer for.

Vendor Check in (Fri 4-7pm)
Vendor Check in (Sat 7-11AM)
Adults: Beer & Wine Sales (Sat 10 - Noon)
Adults: Beer & Wine Sales (Sat Noon-2PM)
Adults: Beer & Wine Sales (Sat 2-4PM)
Adults: Beer & Wine Sales (Sat 4-6PM)
Soda & Water Sales (Sat 10-Noon)
Soda & Water Sales (Sat Noon-2PM)
Soda & Water Sales (Sat 2-5PM)
Stage Hand/Roadie (Sat 10 - 5PM)
Tear Down Team Leaders (Sat 5 - 7PM)

Please make any notes below about your availability. Please include the day(s) and times you are available.

What to wear:

Wear your own T-shirt to promote your group or company.  Dress with comfort in mind, this event is all outdoors. The early morning may be cool, dress in layers if you would like. Donít forget your sunscreen and/or a hat, this is Florida after all! Our event covers a large area and you may be on your feet most of the day so comfortable shoes are a must. Please do not bring your valuables; we have no place to secure them.  

What to Expect:

Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can check in and get to your post, remember every volunteer is important and needed! Volunteer check-in is at the Volunteer check-in/Chamber booth.  Please check in and don't go straight to your area....even if you know what area you are in.  This helps us account for how many volunteers we have.  

Below is the layout of Taste.  Here you can see where Volunteer check-in is, which is the orange boxes on the bottom left of the event layout.  This area is on the mall side of the event.

WAIVER/RELEASE: The undersigned hereby releases and forever discharges, and holds harmless the OviedoĖ Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, the city of Oviedo, Oviedo Mall, Oviedo Fund LLC, Oviedo Fund Manager LLC, Urban Retail Properties LLC and CMFG Life Insurance Company and any of their agents of and from any and all manner of actions, suits, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damage to the property of the undersigned while in possession or supervision of the Taste of Oviedo and hereby consents to the enforcement of the rules and regulations as set down in the accompanying documentation. I also release the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, the city of Oviedo, Oviedo Mall, Oviedo Fund LLC, Oviedo Fund Manager LLC, Urban Retail Properties LLC and CMFG Life Insurance Company from all liability for any injuries and/or illnesses that may directly or indirectly result from my conduct or from the negligence of other participants in the event, and/or from the negligence of the premises owner or the negligence of the sponsors of the event, including its affiliates, agents, volunteers and employees. I and my team also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for any and all medical expenses that we may incur as a result of any injury and/or illness related to our participation in the event. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding upon my team members and myself. Further, I hereby grant full permission to the event organizers and/or other agents authorized by them to use photos, videos, recordings, or other records of this event for legitimate reasons.
