Welcome to the 47th Annual Great Day in the Country! The GFWC Oviedo Woman's Club produces this Arts & Crafts Festival on the second Saturday of November. This year it will be held on November 13, 2021. This is the club's largest fundraiser to raise funds for high school and community scholarships, grants for schools and charities and assisting our 115 year old community service organization in continuing our philanthropic efforts in the community.

Rules & Regulations
1. Festival hours are 9am to 4pm.
2. Participants are responsible for setting up and dismantling of their booth. Tents, tables, etc. are to be provided by participants.
3. Registration and payment is required. We accept applications and credit card payments electronically through our website at www.GreatDayOviedo.org. To submit by mail:

4. Make donation checks payable to: GFWC Oviedo Woman’s Club.
5. The types and donation costs for booths are listed on Page 2.
6. No refunds after October 15.
7. A completed application, signed release statement, (3)
photographs of the item(s) to be displayed, the
corresponding category(s), and a written description
of the item(s) must be submitted. Award winners
from the previous year are not required to submit photos
of their winning items.
8. All partners sharing a booth must be listed on application.
9. Once you have applied and your application has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email within 60 days.
10. There will be limited vendors in each like category.
11. There is electricity available for a limited amount of booths for an additional donation cost of $25.00 plus tax. Once you are accepted into the event, you may inquire about electric.
12. There is limited space for generators; therefore, prior approval for the use of a generator by the Event Chair is required
13. Each booth space is approximately 10' x 10'. We do not
provide tents, tables, chairs, etc. All work is to be contained within the assigned space.
14. Tents need to be weighted or tied down to prevent blowing over. Any electrical or other cords running on the ground need to be secured with tape down their entire length or covered to prevent tripping hazards.
15. Only one vehicle per booth is allowed on the field Friday and Saturday during setup. Unload merchandise and immediately move your vehicle to the parking area before beginning booth setup.
16. Exhibitors must exhibit their own original work.
17. No substitute exhibitors will be allowed. Items must be handmade by the exhibitor.
18. Artist will be provided a Booth Identification Card which MUST BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED on the front of the booth for the duration of the show.
19. To qualify for judging, the appropriate category must be registered at the time of application submittal.
20. A minimum of four (4) pieces must be displayed for each registered category. Exhibitors may enter more than one category.
21. The following are prohibited and will not be accepted: Manufactured articles, dealer’s imports, velvet paintings, loose stones, commercial patterns, and items purchased for resale. Jewelry not designed and assembled by the exhibitor is prohibited.
22. Information regarding booth setup, booth numbers, and gate entrances will be sent to accepted participants by late October.
23. NO PARKING IS PROVIDED ON GROUNDS.
24. You cannot start breaking down your space until 4:00 PM. Please break down and pack up BEFORE getting your vehicle. Cars are not allowed on the grounds and Food Trucks may not be removed until approximately 4:15 – 4:30 pm when the Oviedo Police gives the clearance. You must finish your cleanup and be off the grounds by 6:00 pm.
25. NO food or drink sales are permitted in the booth.
26, Any edible items being sold as a crafter must be prepackaged and sealed.
27. NO alcohol, drugs or unlawful transactions are permitted.
28. If any violation occurs, the entry is forfeited and the exhibitor will be asked to leave.
29. Great Day in the Country is held rain or shine. There is no rain date.
30. If weather conditions are extremely unfavorable the GFWC Oviedo Woman’s Club may cancel all activities.
Release: I do hereby release and hold harmless the GFWC Oviedo Woman's Club, Inc. and the City of Oviedo of and from any and all manners of actions, suits, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damage to my property or anyone's property in my possession or supervision. I have read all of the enclosed information and agree to abide by all rules and regulations described therein. I further understand that this application does not mean acceptance into the festival and that I will be notified of my acceptance.
