Target Audience:

General and special educators, related services personnel, assistive technology teams, instructional technology specialists, administrators, and others interested in helping students with disabilities advocate for their technology needs, increase independence, and achieve success.

Description:

Basic information that every teacher should know when working with students who have disabilities.

Strands include:

  • Accessibility/ AT for Improved Function
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication
  • Education/Learning
  • Sensory Impairment

Presentations within the Strands will address vision and motor impairments, literacy and numeracy skill development, specially designed instruction, autism and behavioral concerns, and more, moving from low to high technology.


Cost: $20
(includes breakfast and lunch)
